Shawbrook Bank named Secured Loans Panel Lender of the Year 2011
19 December 2011
Shawbrook Bank has been named Secured Loans Panel Lender of the Year 2011 by intermediaries, after receiving the most votes in the Norton Broker Services’ annual Christmas survey.
Shawbrook has been awarded the accolade based on some key features, which make it easier and more straightforward for individuals to borrow. These include their offering of the lowest secured loan rates currently available.
Launched in October 2011, Shawbrook is a specialist savings and lendings bank, providing a streamlined lending process that quickly meets the needs of personal customers and credit-worthy small businesses looking for a bank loan.
By distributing its lending products through brokers rather than using a branch network, Shawbrook is able to be more agile and efficient in delivering personal secured loans.
Maeve Ward Secured Loans Sales Manager of Shawbrook Bank commented:
“To be declared panel lender of the year by intermediaries who use Norton Broker Services is excellent news and provides clear evidence that Shawbrook Bank has become a major lender in the secured loans market. On behalf of the Bank I would like to thank everyone that has voted for us.
In 2012 the bank will continue to work closely with Norton Broker Services and their business partners.”

"We are delighted to announce a record response to our annual Christmas survey. There have been many interesting comments made by intermediaries and lenders alike, the results which will be made public shortly. The survey also provided a very positive outlook for secured loan business in 2012
