Shawbrook Business Credit tops Business Money Intermediary Index for third year running

24 March 2015

Shawbrook Business Credit has been crowned clear industry leader in the ‘Business Money Intermediary Index’ for the third consecutive year.

The league table, published in Business Money’s Receivables 2014 report, reflects feedback from a range of intermediaries on lender performance.  The intermediary firms were invited to assess invoice finance providers on three key phases of the transaction life cycle, from the initial introduction; to the appraisal process, through to completion.

Shawbrook Business Credit received the highest score for all three categories and consequently emerged as the leading organisation in the field of 24 invoice finance providers.

Tim Hawkins, commercial director at Shawbrook Business Credit commented: “In this market, delivery is everything. We are delighted at this result, which is further recognition of our unwavering commitment to delivering the quantum, speed of service and certainty of funding on which intermediaries and their clients depend. The fact that this long-standing independent index has been judged by intermediaries makes it all the more important to us.”

Business Money editor, Robert Lefroy, said: “Shawbrook Business Credit has shown that high quality can be delivered year after year if you work hard enough... the team that formerly delivered under the Centric banner has not only maintained its exceptional standards, it has raised the bar again for the whole sector."
