Our climate strategy

1 - Supporting the climate transition

  • Committed to provide £1.2 billion in sustainable finance lending by the end of 2025
  • Continue to support customers' energy efficiency and retrofit ambitions through existing and new products

2 - Reducing our environmental impact

  • Continue to reduce Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions associated with our operations
  • Aim to have at least half of our top suppliers are net zero aligned by the end of 2025

3 - Embedding environmental considerations in our corporate DNA

  • Continue to incorporate climate considerations into our lending, strategic, and financial decisions
  • Engage colleagues, management, and our Board on climate and environmental issues through awareness and training
